Introduction
The body has intertwined systems that contribute to the performance of the body. Some
of the most common systems include the cardiovascular system, the nervous system and the
brain among others. Each body system performs a specific and unique function but at the end of
it all, the systems are interrelated. Human behavior, on the other hand, can be referred as the
physical actions taken up by an individual (Grison, 2017). Often times, the actions result from an
emotion that the individual feels. The brain, the nervous system, and the sensory systems all play
a major role in shaping this behavior.
The Brain, the Nervous System, and the Sensory System
The brain can be considered as one of the most complex organs in the human body.
Despite the complexities associated with the brain, it still plays a major role in promoting the
functioning of the body as well as determining the behavior of an individual. The brain is made
up of different parts including the cerebrum and the cerebellum among others. Each of the parts
is responsible for controlling an emotion or an action and human behavior is influenced by either
human emotion or the physical actions of an individual.
The medulla oblongata which is a part of the brain controls human reflexes. It contains a
spiral of nerves which extend to other parts of the brain and it is responsible for determining the
complex reflexes of a human being. The cerebellum plays a major role in shaping human
