Many firms have experienced current downturns in an economy. This resulting decline in
the economic activities has affected many manufacturing as well as the service sectors. A
competitive environment has been created by the stagnation in our service sectors, an increased
deregulation in the service sectors and the foreign competition. This makes many service sectors
to experience challenges especially in responding to the new circumstances they are exposed to.
The problem’s magnitude has been displayed by the closures of many service industries,
downsizing as well as merging of the service providers. For the service sectors to improve their
