There are many donors that contribute to the success of the program. However, there is a disconnect between the donors, agencies and the community served. Donors would rather focus on a goal that may not be favorable for the participants. (Riverbend, 2021) Agency does not provide the donors with the data that may change their viewpoint. For the agencies to provide this information, they must provide data/information that would support the development of programs. (Guenole, 2017)As a leader in this role, it is important to use your team strategically when gathering any information. The leader and the team must discuss the tools they would need to get the information they need. For the second chance program, interviews surveys would be able to give them feedback regarding individual goals. However, the questions must not be too broad. (Salganik, 2018)Also, separating groups by age and gender would help understand current and future needs. Middle schoolers are not yet looking to graduate, whereas high schoolers must start preparing for life after graduation. Not all should be weighed the same.
