For this section of the course project you are being asked to address the issue of nepotism. Nepotism refers to the practicing of showing favoritism in hiring practices, by choosing family members or close friends over more qualified candidates. The practice also includes showing favoritism with close friends or family members who are already employed with the agency. In a 1-2 page paper include the following:What are your agency's policies about hiring friends and family members?Can a supervisor become romantically involved with a worker?Can a supervisor socialize with subordinates outside of the work environment?What are examples of favoritism?

For this assignment, choose two specific Western cultures between 632-1000 C.E. Using these, build a comparison that identifies at least three differences and three similarities from political leadership, and economic and social and/or cultural elements. Highlight any shared influences, biases, and perspectives. Before your conclusion, you will write a paragraph in which you reflect on the guidelines for ethical and rigorous study of cultures detailed at the beginning of the unit lesson (mentioned in Step 1 below). As you finish your assignment, include conclusions drawn from both your comparisons and your reflection. The assignment steps below will provide more guidance.

Based on the course readings, evaluate what the American Revolution meant to at least three different actors and whether or not it was, in your estimation, overall a “radical” event.
