What are the factors that influence our perception?
Perception is connoted as the process by which people structure and evaluate their
sensory organs to deduce meaning to their surroundings. Nonetheless, the perception of the
individuals can vary from the reality. Various factors impact on the perception of people. While
some elements enhance the perception others completely distort it. One of the aspects that impact
on perception is the attitude (Khan and Kupor, 2017).Typically, individuals have a tendency to
act in specific ways depending on the attitude the attitude they have towards a particular
phenomenon. Besides; moods have an exquisite impact on perception. For instance, when people
are happy they have different opinions towards specific aspects. Another factor that affects
perception is the experience that one has gone through in the past times.
In most cases, the experiences that individuals have encountered impact on the way in
which they perceive the common situations. The current psychological state of a person is also a
salient factor that determines the perceptions of people towards particular phenomenon. For
example, when a person is depressed, the perceptions are different from the situation when the
individual is elated (DiRienzo and Montiglio, 2016). The cultural upbringing also impacts on the
perception of people. Ideally, judgments are based on the values that people uphold. Since
people have different values, then culture is likely to play a role in the perception of individuals
towards particular aspects.

There is an excellent relationship that exists between perception and decision making.

When solving a particular problem, people are forced to select one choice from an array of
alternatives. Since the decision made affects the results of a particular phenomenon, it is
imperative for the policy makers to evaluate the alternatives to arrive at a rational decision.
Nonetheless, this is not necessary in the current world since people find it difficult to evaluate all
the available information (DiRienzo and Montiglio, 2016). For this reason, they make decisions
by perception. This gives an implication that most of the decisions made are based on the
perception of the individuals. Therefore it is valid to argue that there is a relationship between
perception and decision making.
In the prevalent world, the accurate facts do not shape the decisions made by people.
Individuals deploy the use of perception in arriving at resolutions. When people are faced with
critical challenges, they tend to analyze the situation through the use of fewer alternatives.
Typically, most individuals do not consider taking into considerations other options after finding
a satisfactory resolution. Since human beings have a limited potential of processing information,
they embrace the use of perception to arrive at substantial decisions (DiRienzo and Montiglio,
2016).Typically, decision making takes place as a result of a response deduced to a given
problem meaning that it is a perceptual issue.
How do individual differences and organizational constraints influence decision making?
Individual differences and organization constraints have a significant impact on decision
making. Typically, people have different personalities that make them differ in the way in which
they make resolutions. For instance, individuals who have high self-esteem are likely to make
decisions by their self-concepts. On the other hand, little-esteemed individuals deploy the use of
other people’s experiences in making decisions. Ideally; people who have a motivation to

achieve are more likely to be committed to making an appropriate decision. Another individual
difference that impacts on decision making is gender (DiRienzo and Montiglio, 2016).
According to various research studies, it has been found out that the females analyze situations in
a more detailed way than their male counterparts. As such, they arrive at more informed
decisions than those made by the male gender.
Organization constraints also have an impact on decision making. The agency restrictions
are connoted as the aspects that hinder the success of a particular plan (Grey, Williams and
Rebuschat, 2015). Some of the organizational constraints that impact on resolution making
include; the reward systems, the formal regulations and the performance evaluation techniques
deployed in a given firm. The premium models effects on decision making since they determine
the choice that a company makes regarding the compensation of its employees. For instance, if a
corporation entails risk aversion in its reward system, then it will have a tendency of making
