In the United States, there is a large group of a minority among the nation’s population.
The minority group over the past years have had problems when it comes to access of quality
health services, and this has impacted their lives (Notaro, 2012). The black American is one of
the main minority group in the US. This paper will explore the health status of the black
Americans examining the health disparities causes as well as a primary approach as a health
promotion prevention among the minority group.
Around the world, every individual has the right to be healthy. However, in the US, the
situation is much more different than one would expect as the US is a developed nation. Many of
the minority groups in the US have worse health as compared to others. A good example is the
black Americans group that has faced many challenges when it comes to health. The current
health status of black Americans shows that the group suffers more of heart diseases, cancer,
