Don't read through this too quickly. Read it again and take time to stop and reflect on some of the phrases. These paragraphs are packed with life and world changing truth about Jesus. You may not have given much thought to Jesus before now. What is the picture you have in your mind? In these sentences, Paul, the writer of this letter, states that Jesus Christ is supreme over all creation and that he was and is God.
