Introduction
In every day-to-day operation of an employee in an organization, interaction with other
employees is inevitable. Public speaking entails all the activities of communication and how one
presents oneself to others (Shyn & Elizabeth Joy, 2016). Therefore, public speaking is constantly
present in one’s life, from home, market and the office. This paper is going to outline the
importance of public speaking skills and why it is important for all employees in a public
organization to have such skills for both internal and external communications. Moreover, it will
explore means by which an organization can improve its external communication. Nevertheless,
the paper will also outline the importance of an organization to train its employees on
intercultural communications.
