To receive full credit, remember to write 2 posts in the discussion: one original and a response to another student. Your original should be at least 7 sentences, and your reply should be 4 sentences.
2) PEER REVIEW #1 (BRIA)
Hi Class,
I chose to speak about the first suggestion for developing my capacity to tap into Sisu at work: Building psychological safety. I chose this because as it stands, I currently can be my worst enemy, mentally. I tend to stress myself when I know I've made a mistake or even stressing about the possibility of making a mistake. This is all because I want to always do things the correct way, so when I make a mistake, it really throws me off. As defined in the excerpt, "Psycological safety can give you the space to speak your mind and stand up for what is important, to be innovative, and to take action despite the risk of failing or making mistakes." I can achieve this by not being so hard on myself, if I do make a mistake but always ensure that I am trying my best at all times. I have to cultivate my own mental space of safety knowing that failure is just an event, not an identity. This is good because even at the face of adversity, developing a healthy mental space is vital. It's really just me speaking positively to myself and knowing that it isn't the end of the world when mistakes happen.
