Introduction
Leadership can be explained as the art of getting someone else to do something you want
done because he or she wants to do it. Leadership is interpreted to mean different things to
different people, it is determined by the situation at hand and the tasks expected to be carried out
(Perl-Vorbach, Rauter, & Baumgartner, 2014). It varies with the subject’s expectations, for
example, a community leader leads the community in communal development, religious leaders
in worship places, political leaders and also leaders of the campaigning groups (Wallace, 2017).
The leader also manages the process of delivery the vision and coaches the team he has created
for effective achievement of the vision. Leaders usually build an inspiring vision within himself
and his followers which motivates them in achieving the set targets. They create something new
which no one had an idea about in the organization. Leadership is concerned with mapping out
where a team or an organization needs to go and win or achieve. It is dynamic n nature, exiting
and also inspiring. This paper looks into situational leadership, leadership influence, and traits of
a leader from the insight of an Estate Volunteer Club (Menges, Kilduff, Kern, & Bruch, 2015).

facing organizations. The situation theory explains that the situation that leadership is exercised
is mostly determined by the leadership skills of the leader and also his or her characteristics. The
different theories that describe leadership are based on the following considerations; leadership

might be a process or relationship, it might be a combination of traits or personality
characteristics, also leadership can be certain behaviors or leadership skills. There are several
theories associated with leadership; in this case we shall focus on only one of the theories
(Menges, Kilduff, Kern, & Bruch, 2015).
A community club is focused I assisting needy people. People in our estate and their
allies come together and contribute towards the project. The club breaks its bank in Decembers
to spend the holidays with people who need help. The most impressive thing about the club is its
