The story of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is one that has been enjoyed by
so many people and more specifically those that love romantic plays and stories. It is a story that
can also be viewed at from the psychological concepts of interpersonal attraction and close
relationships such as the effects of emotion, proximity, repeated exposure, similarity, physical
beauty, and familiarity. This paper seeks to evaluate close relationships just like the one
