So P(k=1) is given by the binomial distribution pdf which is:
P(k) = (n choose k) p^k (1-p)^(n-k)
= n! / [ k!(n-k)! ] x p^k (1-p)^(n-k)
= 14! / [2! x 12!] x 0.14^2 x 0.86^12
= 14x13/2 x 0.0196 x 0.163675
= 0.2919 to 4 decimal places
