Ethics in counseling
Just like a salaried counseling job, one should avoid going against the counseling ethics
while doing voluntary counseling work. During the voluntary counseling work, one should let
the client's Interest to prevail over his or her interest. Moreover, I’ll try by all means to contribute
to the well-being of the client and the society as a whole. when carrying out voluntary counseling
work, I will aspire to respect the client's opinions. Discrimination of the clients will be a matter
that is out of the question.
I will always observe the breaking points, and limits of my expert ability and not the
slightest bit speak to myself as having capabilities past those which they have. I will respect the
fact that every part is in charge of redressing any distortion and that different people may make
concerning that part's proficient capabilities (Beck, A. T 1979). I will work to avoid taking out
oppression on any individual or gathering on the premise of age, shading, race, sex, original
introduction and way of life, religion, national source, marital status, political conviction, and
physical inability.
