Patient Care Improvement Design
If there is one thing that needs to be said is that change is very challenging to achieve and
maintain. There are various reasons as to why people resist change, but one of the things that
need to be understood is that human beings have a natural disposition to always remain in their
comfort zones. Most of the plans that have been made in trying to improve patient care have
always focused on understanding the complexity of the health professionals, but as time has
shown, it would need more than just having a focus on the health practitioners. There needs to
bring on board all the stakeholders who have a role in public health, and this includes the federal

health specialists, the budget process and the giving of grants to be put into consideration with
the patient care being the end goal in mind. Thus, there would be community integration to focus
on the priority areas that need to be dealt with such as the safety and financial needs of the
The quality improvement would also focus on the health professionals who would be the
