Response to Discussion Question
Respond to your peer in minimum 175 wordsHi all,I used the following formulas to find the below proportions:a. 83/400 = .2075 --> 20.75%b. 100/400 = .25 --> 25%c. 42/400 = .105 --> 10.5%d. 42/100 = .42 --> 42%The above information for a. and d. doesn't give me sufficient insight as to if the training program was effective or not. With this little bit of information provided however, I would assume the training program was not as effective as hoped. My guess is that the group that received bonuses initially did not feel the need to go through the training program, and the group that did attend training, didn't receive a bonus. For the group that did both, even that proportion was low. I think the determining factor may have been what the salespeople wanted to achieve for their goals whether it was the bonus alone, or the training alone, or both. But in this scenario, I would need more information on these groups in order to make an educated and accurate guess. But I did enjoy calculating the above percentages!

Walden University High School Longitudinal Study Dataset Discussion
Whether in a scholarly or practitioner setting, good research and data analysis should have the benefit of peer feedback. For this Discussion, you will post your response to the hypothesis test, along with the results. Be sure and remember that the goal is to obtain constructive feedback to improve the research and its interpretation, so please view this as an opportunity to learn from one another. To prepare for this Discussion: Review this week’s Learning Resources and media program related to multiple regression. Create a research question using the Afrobarometer Dataset or the HS Long Survey Dataset, that can be answered by multiple regression. Use SPSS to answer the research questions. If you are using the Afrobarometer Dataset, report the mean of Q1 (Age). If you are using the HS Long Survey Dataset, report the mean of X1SES. What is your research question? What is the null hypothesis for your question? What research design would align with this question? What dependent variable was used and how is it measured? What independent variables are used and how are they measured? What is the justification for including these predictor variables? If you found significance, what is the strength of the effect? Explain your results for a lay audience, explain what the answer to your research question. TAMIU Relationship Between Sugary Drinks & Obesity Statistical Hypothesis Discussion
Write a null and alternate hypothesis for the research problem statement that you wrote. In your document (400 words minimum), present the problem statement that you wrote, the null and alternate hypothesis for that research problem, and a discussion on how probability (p-values) is used in statistical analysis.
