Indicate how entropy of the system changes for each of the physical processes shown below.either decrease in entropy and decrease entropy.

crystallization

condensing

dissolving

diffusion
melting

at 25°C. Assume that G°A = 8748 J/mol and G°B = 11024 J/mol.

Calculate the value of the equilibrium constant for this reaction.

Entropy is a measure of disorder. As a general rule. when objects lose heat, they become more ordered (their entropy goes down). When they gain heat, they become less ordered (their entropy goes up). Also, when objects do things like dissolve, the they become more disordered. So, here are the answers: Crystallization: Entropy Decreases   Condensing: Entropy Decreases  Dissolving: Entropy Increases  Diffusion: Entropy Increases   Melting: Entropy Increases.  I assume the last statement about equilibrium constant is not part of your question.
