Introduction
Society today has primarily progressed toward becoming McDonaldized in its mindset
and doing regular activities. As indicated by George Ritzer, McDonaldization is the process by
which the standards of the fast-food eatery are coming to dominate an ever increasing number of
sectors of the American food culture and also the rest of the world (Raley, 2006).
McDonaldization is a lifestyle. It impacts the food business, as well as education, healthcare, the
work environment and practically everything else we do. The explanation for this observation is
because society is becoming quick paced and there is a need for control, predictability,
efficiency, and calculability (Symons, 2013). Since society is quick paced, there is little time for
conventional methods for getting things done. Individuals are stuck on this new thinking
approach, McDonaldization.
