Part One
Rasmussen Consulting will need both permanent and temporary teams for
implementation of an information security system that would ensure the integrity of MovieFlix
Company. The project will include a process group, virtual team, cross-functional team, and
quality circle.
Process Team
The team comprises of members who meet regularly to oversee a project from its
initiation to completion (Unger-Aviram et al., 2013). Members will consist of individuals from
different functional groups whose selection will regard specific skills they can contribute to
various processes, including vendor selection and software development. Members will also
comprise of the system and network administrators who will engage in the administration of the
systems and data storage, among other components, that house and provide access to the
information of the company. The team will act on a permanent basis with a project leader who
understands the project and personnel management, and information security requirements.
Further, individuals with responsibility for a similar process may form a work group to identify
how their associated tasks can best support effective safety management. For instance, policy
developers will comprise of individuals who understand the company culture, existing policies,
and requirements for the development and implementation of successful policies.
Virtual Team
The team consists of geographically dispersed members who engage in achieving a
particular purpose (Unger-Aviram et al., 2013). Such a goal may be systems implementation, and
members will include security professionals who have adequate knowledge and expertise in both
technical and nontechnical aspects of information security. Communication methods will be
