*I am currently a corporate recruiter or Talent Acquisition Partner with Pacific Premier Bank. It would help and look ideal if we could implement and use my current job for the paper.. I'm not sure if this is possible or not. I know our company website does a pretty good job in displaying the five functions and how they use them at our company. But if this is not possible, any job is okay, I can always say that I had previously worked there.

IMPLEMENTING THE FIVE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
Introduction
Management is a social process that involves various responsibilities and activities that
regulate the operations of an organization as part of the focus towards the achievement of the set
goals and objectives. These responsibilities and activities are encompassed in five main functions
which are planning, leading, organizing, staffing, and controlling. These functions are common
to each management level and are inseparable since they overlap each other as each function
blends into the other. The management ensures that all the functions are well aligned with the
objectives of the organization so as to ensure the success of the organization both in the short
term and long term (Luning & Marcelis, 2007). Working as a corporate recruiter with Pacific
Premier Bank, I have learned that these functions are very important in the running of a
successful organization. This bank offers a wide range of financial services to businesses,
individuals and professionals through its internet website and its 28 full-service branches. My
current employer ensures that the five functions are well implemented to ensure that all
employees perform their daily duties as expected and run the whole organization smoothly.
Planning
This is the most basic function of management that usually involves the setting of goals
and objectives of the organization as well as determining the most suitable course of action to
achieve the set objectives. The management at my current job implements this function through
an environmental scanning of the environment in which it operates in, the banking industry. This
scanning helps my employer to be aware of the critical contingencies that face the organization
in regard to its competitors, economic conditions and the needs of customers (Allen, Fontaine,
Pope & Garmestani, 2011). Since the planning is mainly associated with future forecasting and
