selling of goods and services via the internet.” With advancements in technology most
businesses are taking this approach and the hospitality industry has not been left behind. This
form of business has made the hospitality industry accessible to customers both locally and
globally. It has also made services such as booking and making reservations a lot cheaper.
The customer base for companies has also been increased leading to an increase in profits
made by companies.

The company I chose to analyse in this discussion is called The Grand Regency hotel this
company utilises three types of e-commerce very well. The first one is the business to
customer type of e-commerce. The company has really invested in what they put out there for
