The academic level of each student student, the state's learning standard for each grade level, and my own ability to teach simultaneous grade levels. In California, for example, I could see a scenario where I could easily teach 7th and 10th grade world history in the same class. In the same way it would be rather easy to teach 8th and 11th U.S. History. To make it easy on my self, I would teach the same thing to all, but I would have a grading rubric that would require different student product according to grade level and my state's learning standards.
Please remember to best.
