For the course project, you will develop a Diversity Management Proposal that uses the five steps of the decision making process (listed below) for solving a diversity issue within an organization that you've worked for, an organization that you have researched or are familiar with.

- Select and Implement chosen alternative
- Follow up to Determine effectiveness of decision.You will address your proposal to the decision-makers of the company who have the power to implement your solution

A diverse workplace involves the inclusion of people from different ethnic, social, and
cultural backgrounds. As such, diversity may include a workforce that consists of people from
different races as a part of the entire workforce. Gender can also count as a part of the larger
diversity issue. Therefore, typically, a diverse workforce has people who come from different
socioeconomic backgrounds, a fair mixture of races, and gender as well. This aspect is missing in
Apple, one of the giant tech companies in the country and the entire world. The company has not
adopted efficient employment policies and thus shows the lack of diversity in the workforce
regarding gender and the ethnic backgrounds. Being one of the biggest companies in the world, it
should set an example. Apple should adopt an accelerated recruitment policy to increase the
diversity especially in the senior management positions as well as the board of directors.
Diversity in the workplace is a great selling point for many companies. Apart from
getting more customers, the company will also provide equal opportunities to people from
different areas and backgrounds to develop themselves through the employment opportunities.
That is the spirit of helping the community and ensuring that people achieve their financial
potential through obtaining the obligations that they have. Diversity is critical because it
