 f(x) = -3x2 + 6x

x value of the vertex is given by -b/2a

= -6/2(-3) = -6/-6 = 1

y = f(1) = -3(1)^2 + 6(1) = 3

The function is an inverted parabola, so

it has a MAXIMUM at (1, 3)
