Description

Topic

This week we looked at “Creativity and the Self” and “Healing with Creativity.” Many people wish they were more creative and they think products or self-improvement services might help them achieve their goals. Others see creativity as a way of lifting them out of anxiety, depression, or an unfulfilled life. In some instances, companies use people’s yearnings for creativity to sell them something that may or may not deliver on its promises. But at the same time, some creative self-help and art therapy programs provide a genuine good, with scientific evidence backing them up. Have you ever thought about how creativity might bring about a better “you”? Have you or anyone you know looked into a “creative” product, program, or service? Write a couple sentences expressing your opinion or relating an experience you or someone else has gone through.
