The outcomes from the positive psychological capital (PsyCap) examination deals with four
major features namely optimism, resilience, efficacy and hope (David, 2011). Some of the plans
and strategies I may apply in advancing my career are recognized in the positive strengths of the
psychological capital (PsyCap). I would use the positive outcomes of the psychological capital
(PsyCap) to set my goals so that I may increase my job performance as well as motivation and
lastly I would discuss the way the various five motivational theories can help in job motivation
and performance.

I would have to say that I agree with positive psychological capital (PsyCap) outcomes. The
positive psychological capital (PsyCap) testing is ranked from 1 that is the lowest to 18 that is the
highest. From the results, I scored 17 points in hope and efficacy that is a relatively high level of
positive psychological capital (PsyCap) and I also scored 16 points in resiliency which is also highlevel score (Maxwell, 2011). My lowest score was in optimism that was 12 points that is the highest
score of the medium level.

Therefore, I scored high levels in hope, resiliency and efficacy and medium level in optimism.
This examination and the questions worked well as the discussion topic since I am in a position to
easily apply the information to my most current applications as a manager in my department. My
high scores on almost all the levels of the positive psychological capital (PsyCap) shows that the
roles I sought two years ago in the training department required to have high levels of positive
psychological capital (PsyCap). To be able to train others, I need to be confident with myself as
well as others. I need to be a problem solver who can find solutions to the problems and find
answers from the members I am working together with (David, 2011). I need to have the ability to
