Find the vertical asymptotes, if any, of the graph of the rational function.

g(x) = x-1/x(x+3)

An asymptote is a line that the graph of a function approaches but never touches. this can happen where denominator is zero so that function g(x) will have no value.

To find vertical asymptote we set the denominator equal to zero.

x(x+3)=0

x=0 or x+3=0

x=0 or x=-3
