Civil Right Movements
Inequality in the United States threatened to hinder smooth coexistence of the various
people living in this country. A Huge number of African Americans and those men who lacked
properties were barred from gaining full citizenship in the American society. This move implies
that they did not enjoy the same rights as others in the USA. Lack of equal rights and protection
created inequality in the country, a move that bred disrespect and hatred. The 1960's Civil Rights
Movement played a crucial role in promoting equal rights for all Americans.
On the way to assimilation, Rosa Parks disapproval was one of the crucial points in the
history of the Republicans of USA. Refusal to capitulate the seat in the bus to a white man in the
white part got her arrested since it was not allowed. In this regard, the open demonstration of
civil none compliance with rules by Rosa Park brought up the active battle and struggle of racial
oppositions for assimilation among the republicans. The desegregation movement, headed by
Martin Luther King.Jr, which began in concussion of the civil Right movements due to Rosa
Parks and agnate exhibition of public protest against apartheid brought about the demolish of
racial fairness and assimilation of the US in transportation thus equal access to public
accommodations.
The civil right legislation set the stage for real work of equality in education hand in hand
with job opportunities. An important state federal confrontation occurred in 1957 at Arkansas
central High School whereby nine students attempting to enroll classes were attacked by angry
mob of whites. However President Dwight D.Eisenhower had to send military to plan a force the
Supreme Court’s Decision in Brown proving the student right to attend school. Additionally, in
1962 when James Meredith tried to recruit at the Mississippi University, John Kennedy as the
president sent federal military to buoy up desegregation.
Thirdly, the voting right act, another important piece of legislation, was passed by the
congress due to the massive protests by religious groups such as the Southern Christian
Leadership Congress and student organization like the Student Nonviolent Coordinating
Committee to raise awareness and to accelerate the momentum for passage of federal civil rights
legislation. Previously the whites kept away the African Americans from voting, however, the
passed act prohibited the voting qualifications including articulacy tests. Additionally, it gave
them amalgamated government omission ability regarding changes in states voting laws.
However, war by white southerners would cause, these regulations together with amalgamated
actions portrayed that the movement had the adherence of the powers of federal government and
that mounted no resistance.
Lastly an upcoming movement founded a political confrontation to efforts aimed at
enlarging fair play after the 1960. Not only did the post-civil activists face political challenges
but also economic as a soaring conservative movement defended the arrangements they sort to
challenge. To abstain from the building up of the new deal, the movements’ origin, as multitude
representatives of northern business hindered the southern apartheidism. However after 1955 the
movement began to stable and grown where William F.Bulkey as its organizing Centre founded
National Review magazine. Initially he and his Republican Party activist publisher reckon on the
large range of civil rights and whites from the south opposed to brown Education board to battle
as a prime constituent for their research course. To relieve the racial justice, the results were a
climate hostile to reform.
In equality in the United States has been the major cause of segregation among the blacks
and whites. This has brought conflict between them and cannot associate well as human beings
because the whites consider themselves superior to black people. Civil rights movement that was
cheered by Martin Lurther, the movement fought for equal rights of all American citizen living
in the USA whether white or black. Mass protests and demonstration made the voting act to be
passed which was a very important step in legislation. Freedom had to be fought for through
formation of movement groups that channeled and campaigned for the abolishment of apartheid.

Digital Age Reading
Digital age reading has brought up many conflicting debates among various groups for
example the National Council of English and the International Reading Association. Some argue
that internet is the enemy to reading thus promoting illiteracy. Researchers and studies are in
support of the internet arguing that it has created a new kid of reading where teenagers for
example Nadia read online instead of watching television all time.
E-learning offers ability to focus on the requirements of individual learners. Marc (2000)
in his book review on E-Learning Strategies for Delivering Knowledge In Digital Age stated the
ability of e-learning to focus on student’ individual need rather than instructors or institutions is
one of the significant pro of e-learning. Marc argues that personalized focus identifies weak and
strong areas of a hence helping in decision making on where to put your energy. Individual
focus can easily be attained in e-learning compared to ordinary learning.
E-learning is flexible. It is so especially when one considers time and place. Each student
has the freedom of selecting the time and place suitable to him or her. According to Smedley
(2010), the adoption of e-learning provides the institutions as well as their students or learners
the much flexibility of time and place of delivery or receipt of according to learning
information. In the same way, one can access more knowledge without time and place limitation.
This ultimately boosts efficacy of knowledge.
It has the ability to offer opportunities for relations between learners through discussion
forums. By doing so e-learning aids eliminate barriers fear of talking to other learners. It thus
ensures inclusiveness and participation. E-learning positively causes students to student
interaction. It also allows for exchange and respect of different point of views. E-learning eases
communication and also improves the relationships that sustain teach (Wagner et al, 2008). Elearning avails more prospects for student-to-student and student-to-teacher interactivity.
Proper use of e-learning permits self-pacing. It is asynchronous in a way that allows each
learner to progress at his or her own speed. It thus offers more satisfaction and is more stressfree stress (Codone, 2001; Amer, 2007; Urdan and Weggen, 2000; Algahtani, 2011). It is also
available to disabled making it possible to further their education from any place. One can also
still read while engaging in their hobbies e.g. traveling hence it is more fun. Self-pacing in turn
saves student from over competing or rather unnecessary competition.
Conclusion
Generally, one can argue that computer learning that is the E- learning has many
advantages and it’s very useful in day to day learning. E- Learners do enjoy the freedom of selfpacing which makes learner progress according to the learning strength of their brain. Slower
learners can fully take the advantage of the E- learning. Digital age reading has many benefits
not as argued by various groups like the National Council of English and the International
Reading Association. Digital age reading has improved reading in teenagers thus the level of
literate people has increased.

This paper aims at identifying the relationship between employee performance and
organizational effectiveness on human resource management. It shall describe various ways in

can influence effective employee performance as it inspired the employees to work with clients
in an intellectual and creative process that eventually inspires them to grow their personal and
professional potential. Just as professional coaching, stretch assignments also gives employees
the opportunity to learn on-the-job and through experience, particularly the essential leadership
skill. Stretch assignments also increase the size of talent pools, build capacity and increase
enterprise sustainability of employees.
Health Care Benefits
The health of any employee greatly influences their productivity at work; employees that
are healthy and productive create a strong asset that powers the business' foundation. Health care
benefits offered by the employer can facilitate access to quality care and better health outcomes,
which allows employees to focus on their jobs when they are at work. Chronic conditions
account for the majority of health care costs in the United States, with many workers
experiencing multiple health issues. In fact, an estimated 70 percent of all U.S. deaths are
connected to persistent conditions that may be linked back to lifestyle factors including poor
nutrition, physical inactivity, smoking, and mental illness that’s gone untreated (Bray, 2009).
Unfortunately, many employees seem to have reached the limit of how much they are willing or
able to pay for health care benefits as they are also worried about their current and future
financial situations; fearing that they will not have enough money saved up for retirement forcing
them to have to work past normal retirement age.
Social Media
A majority of organizations are employing the use of social network sites for their
professional benefits like creating customer relationship; hence it has become a need for
organizations to design their workforce in accordance to the changing environments.
Organization’s productivity and profits base on its employee’s performance, and its employees
are strongly connecting to social networks. Nonetheless, Social networks are also creating risks,
opportunities, threats, weaknesses, and strengths for organizations. It creates risk because social
networks are used as communication mediums; hence can be used to rely and disseminate
information that the organization never intended to share with people outside the organization. It
creates opportunity in the case that the competitor’s employee shares information about
upcoming strategy through social media and this can be used for organization’s benefit. Vice
versa threat can be faced by organizations when its employees discuss internal information of
organization at social networks which can be used by its competitors. Social networking can be
weakness of organization when it affects its productivity negatively but it can also become a
strong point for organizations when it’s used to build good relationship with employees, to direct
them is right way, to collect information about employee behavior and to train them (Flynn,
2011).
Conclusion
All in all, an organization need to use the right corporate leadership development
program that will enhance the effectiveness of job delivery. A good corporate leadership
development program will result to a higher performance rate. Also, health care is essential
because healthy employees will always deliver. So, the employer should provide their employees
with cover to influence their production thus increase the outcome of delivery. Another vast
thing it is the social media. Companies with attractive and appealing aspects of the internet have
led to increase in their production. It is benefiting for a company to possess the right aspect of
social media that suits it employers.
