Middle Pages:

  • The interview should be written in Paragraph form meaning that the questions should be included in the Paragraph itself.  Interviewer material can be paraphrase or briefly quoted.

Description of the Interviewee
The interviewee is my grandfather. He is an 81-year old Viet Nam war veteran. He
was first among seven siblings in my great grandfather’s family. He achieved modest
education and is a very active member of his community. Despite his advanced age, the
interviewee is still strong and his senses are very alert. His speech is still spectacular and his
senses of sight and hearing are okay. However, he is getting weak and he cannot move a lot.
As a result, he spends a lot of time at his home. After the war, the interviewee ran some
business ventures together with other partners. The businesses are still in existence although
he is not actively involved in their management. While he is still involved in major business
decision-making, the interviewee has delegated a lot of management responsibilities to one of
his children. This paper is a summary of an interview that this writer did with him. The
interview was done at his home on a cool Sunday afternoon.
Asked on the kind of life that he lived, the interviewee indicated that he has lived
quite a fulfilling life. He started by narrating the environment in which he was born. He
