This is one example of why it is so difficult to understand intelligence. Level of education and intelligence may not always be connected.
Think about people in your life who you consider to be intelligent. What characteristics do they have? Some may be creative while others may be analytical.
Does having a good memory mean you are intelligent? After all, you probably will do better on a test if you can remember more. Some psychologists may not agree. Reflect on your own processes for remembering important information. Do you use multiple strategies to organize information for recall?
In this week you analyze the relationship between models of intelligence and cognitive processing. You also evaluate the effectiveness of memory strategies.
