How many digits would be needed in a base 15 place value numeration system?

Mar 19th, 2015

If the base is an integer, the number of digits is always equal to the absolute value of the integer. For example, in decimal system, with base equal to 10, the number of digits is equal to 10 (0 to 9), in binary system, the number of digits is 2.

Similarly, for a base 15 numeration system, number of digits required would be 15.
