Hello Classmates, It is important to have an access to database in Medical Assisting because it help to assist with things such as diagnosis and treatment, it manage documentation, patient information and billing, as well as help to limit and reduce errors. The medical database is organized for collection of all health data, and protecting patients privacy, each function serves a unique function, and it is how the many different departments in the same health care facility. A database is an organized collection of structured information or data typically stored electronically in a computer system, it contains all data. Table is a form used to structure and organize that data within the system in rows and columns. Field is a data structure used for a single piece of data.
