x3-x2+2x-2=0

x^2(x - 1) + 2(x - 1) = 0

(x - 1)(x^2 + 2) = 0

x - 1 = = 0

x = 1

x^2 + 2 = 0

x^2 = -2

x = i sqrt2

x = - i sqrt2

Well are u sure this is the answe

yes

The number next to the x's is squared

what do u mean?

The first two x the number next to them are squared

Your equation was x3-x2+2x-2=0

The first x is CUBED, the second x is SQUARED

It's a polynomial. It makes no sense if the first two x's are squared. Then they would cancel each other out.
