Case info to be answered:

Workers who are illiterate suffer from embarrassment and fear. An HR manager notes, “They will ask for directions many times, even though the instruction manual is alongside their machine. . . . Some workers always seem to be having problems with their eyesight or their glasses. . . . The truth is that they simply cannot read.” How would you go about identifying workers who should receive literacy training? What is functional illiteracy? Using the web, discuss how prevalent functional illiteracy is in the workforce?  Summarize the article. Cite your sources of information. Are companies ethically responsible for providing literacy training for workers who lack basic skills?  Why or why not?
