Gizmotrons Product Rollout Discussion
The topic this week is the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), especially as it relates to the project your team has selected. If you choose your own project, one team member should post a description (roughly a page long, double spaced) describing the project at a high level and its main deliverables (see underlined red text in your team project instructions) in your Group discussion area (NOT here) in a post labeled Team Project Choice, so your professor can review and approve it. If you are choosing the Gizmotron's Product Rollout project, state that in a similarly labeled post. Make this post by Day 2 (Thursday).
It is also expected that simultaneous with this discussion here, you will be engaged as a team in your group discussion area in starting to develop the WBS.
You should post here the following:
A brief explanation of your understanding of deliverables and work packages in general (not specifically your team project)
The main deliverables identified for the project in your team assignment, and why these deliverables were chosen
How your team will decompose the deliverables into work packages, highlighting specifically your individual role/responsibility in doing so. For example, will you be decomposing a specific deliverable, teaming up with someone to do so, participating in a call/Zoom with others, what logic/approach you would use to determine your work packages, etc.
