Introduction
Organizational development has been defined differently by different scholars. One of its
definitions states that it is a planned change that focuses on improving the organization’s capability
through strategy alignment, structure, people, rewards, metrics, and other management processes
(McEwan, B. (2018). In this paper we will focus on a company called AQT company limited which
is a food distribution company.
The organization just like any other has its mission and vision statements and they are stated below;
Mission Statement
To offer quality and affordable transportation services within the areas the company operates
Vision statement
The company aims to be the biggest and the leading food distributor within its area of operation.
The leadership through the management has set out the following major goals that are to be
achieved by the company;
1. To expand the organizational operations from the town the company is located to several
others within a period of two years of the company’s operations.
2. To ensure quality and affordable transportation services all through. No compromise about
quality and affordability of the services.
3. Environment. The organization aims at conserving the environment at whatever costs and
does what it can to preserve and conserve the environment.

From the above stated major goals, the management has singled out one goal number one as the
major one. Not that the other two are not that important but they are equally important but goal
number one is the one to be prioritized (McEwan, B. (2018).
In addition, as the head of the marketing department, I am placed at the helm and the driver as well
to ensure that the main goal is attained. Its failure will be my failure and so I have set some
