Human resource management has played an important role in improving the performance
of an organization based on the high-level skilled employees recruited to help an organization
achieve its target. The overall performance of an organization is linked to the human resource
management processes that have been put in place in different organizations. Human resource
management is always involved in ensuring that they are hiring the right person for a given job by
basing on important aspects including academics, skills, and experience. Organizational
development is a critical aspect of an organizational setting since it focuses on creating a critical
environment where organizational performance can be improved. Business growth is therefore
significantly based on some considerations that are put in place by a given organization. There are
different human resource aspects that have been considered in the class thus providing a significant
understanding of how they have influenced the current business environment.
Human resource key areas
There are different concepts of human resource management which have a greater
influence on the overall functioning of how business organizations are positioned and thus being
in a position to have an understanding of these concepts provides a better environment where it is
very easy to develop a common understanding of how they can be applied within the organizational
environment. I have been able to understand key processes within the human resource, which has
played a crucial role in the development process of business organizations and thus understanding
these key issues play a greater role in changing the focus of business engagement and development.
The key concepts that have been considered in class regarding human resource management
include EEO and affirmative action, human resource planning, recruitment and selection, human
resource development, compensation and benefits, safety and health as well as employee and labor
relations.

Equal employment opportunity and affirmative actions have revolutionized the workplace
engagement where business organization focuses on implementing positive strategies to ensure
that they are not mentioned in a bad light regarding violation of employment regulations which
are critical and provide a very difficult environment. Affirmative action provides a significant
focus on the need to create a better environment where there is no discrimination. There are
different considerations that are put into focus when discussing affirmative action. Affirmative
action has led to diversity in a different environment through the significant focus on creating a
common environment where better strategies are implemented to ensure that there is no dominance
