I am also offering you an even more briefly explanation of those chapter in this message in case you need it:Chapter 1: It is more an introductive chapter that gives us some general information regarding what it means to be a coach and how a training program should be done (briefly explained as all the important information can be found in the next chapters)Chapter 2: It talks about the importance of knowing how the body is capable of moving and also which are the main groups of muscles. The main subject is the performance paradigm which allows the coach to interconnect different components in order to find out which other components need to be trained.Chapter 3: This is a nice chapter which deals with the knowledge a coach should have regarding the sport, how it is played, what is each player doing, analyzation of how good an athlete is and understanding the side effect a sport can have - especially injuries.Chapter 4: This refers to the yearly and the after training testings that are conducted on the athletes. It was more a chapter that presented us the main tests that are done.Chapter 5: This chapter talks about performance training. What characterized a well-prepared training program.Chapter 6: This is like a sequel of the first chapter as it gets into details regarding the training program. What are its characteristics but also each step someone has to undergo.Chapter 7: This chapter gives us information regarding the different types of working methods athletes might use during their training session.Chapter 8: This is the first chapter of the second part of the book, and it gives us information about balance and posture.--------------I think this is exactly what you were looking for. Chapter Note 1: A Functional Conditioning Framework
This chapter starts with the words of the coach who tells us that to design an effective
training program you first need to teach the sportive the fundamental movement skills and only
after that the specific sports skills. To achieve positive results, everything needs to be based on a
sound philosophy. Every coach before trying to implement his training program needs to have a
philosophy that will serve as a clear guide in everything that he or she is going. It also presents
the power of questions. Every coach should ask himself and also the athletes why are they doing
what they are doing, how are they doing it, what they are going to do and when they are going to
do it. The answers to these questions will represent the base of what is considered to be the most
efficient training program. If we can make a comparison between new coaching and the one in
the past we will see that today we are facing several obstacles represented by the economy, the
education, the physic and also the culture. Today’s population is overweight, and because of that,
we tend to focus more on getting a fast result rather than try to appreciate each step of the
process
We should bear in mind that no quick shortcuts are avail...
