3x+6y=10

2x+4y=5

I worked it out and its not right

using equation 1 to get the value of x

3x=10-6y

x=10-6y/3=10/3-2y

replace the value of x in equation 2

2(10/3-2y)+4y=5

20/3-4y+4y=5

20/3+0y=5

the equation has no solutions since the the values of x and y are zero
