QUESTION 30

  1. Describe the difference between soil creep, avalanches, and earth flows in terms of speed and potential for destruction.
Mar 26th, 2015

Soil Creep is when dirt and such fall down a low grade hill over a large period of time with very little destruction. An avalanche is when large amounts of snow fall down mountains. They are very destructive, as they pick up more snow as they fall. Earth flows are when fire particles get saturated with water and move downhill. It is like a mud flow.
