Description
Explanation & Answer
To find the area of the room, first count the no of horizontal and vertical squares
Verticle squares = 9
Horizontal Square =12
so, total no. of squares = 9x12 = 108
since each square is 1 square foot of area
so, total area of the room = 108 square feet
Now, no. of verticle squares in frame of bed = 6 and horizontal square = 7
so total no. of squares = 6x7 = 42
so, area of the frame of bed = 42 square feet
And area no. covered by bed = Total area of Room - Area of the frame of bed
= 108 -42 = 66 square feet
Hope this helps :)
