The second chapter:
2.1 Tasks and activities:
During the training period from the trainer Amal Alkhunaifer in the human resources department
of the company, there was a training plan to train and qualify students from establishing a
company to the internal policies of the human resources department.
7
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
Below, I will review the plan in which I was trained gradually under the human resources
management department in the company I trained:
2.2 A foundation plan for a company:
The trainer asked me to do the first work, which is to draw up a foundation plan for a company,
choose the name of the company and its field of work, determine the vision of the institution,
determine the goals and strategies, the classification of employees, their number, the mechanism
of work, working hours and times, and the work of an external and internal structure of a
company.
It was an experiment to prove how much scientific progress I gained during my university
studies and the extent to which the most important requirement of the human resources
department can be achieved and I was able to establish. I proved to a company how well I was
worth the appreciation that added knowledge and experience to me.
It was only this beginning, although it was not easy and took a lot of time to go back to the pages
of university books and realized that science is not only enough when you are at work.
2.3 Sorting applicants and communicating with the competent department:
The recruitment process is one of the most important units of human resources management
because it aims to provide the best cadres with good competencies and qualifications. The
importance of the recruitment process for human resources management is to prevent or reduce
the employment of the wrong person (inappropriate) who will cost the organization a lot. In
addition to its cost to the organization in terms of salary and allowances, there is a cost that may
be more than that resulting from losses resulting from the wrong decisions made by the
designated person and may amount to the loss of the organization some of its share in . The
market in addition to other losses that may be caused to the organization, during the training
period, I was assigned many tasks and activities related to the recruitment process, and the
review and editing of labor reports. With regard to the recruitment process, I was first assigned to
advertise vacancies through social media platforms including LinkedIn and twitter. Then it
started screening applicants based on their educational qualifications and practical experience.
After that, she was assigned to contact the qualified candidates to attend the interview and to
archive an unacceptable curriculum vitae for future reference. Sending a letter of apology to
those who were not accepted for the job, preparing employment templates, and finally, assigned
to review the files and edit the work reports.
The tasks I did in the recruitment process taught me some basic lessons in human resources.
Through her performance, she understood that the recruitment process requires possessing and
applying effective communication skills, time management, computer, and negotiation skills to

succeed. It is also aware that it is important to develop future plans that help exploit and improve
the current skills of employees to ensure a more effective production process.
2.4 Domestic policies:
Many do not realize the importance of internal policies. Just as the company needs external
marketing, it also needs internal marketing. Also, the company always needs to move towards
internal dialogues with employees so that it can know the satisfaction of employees and so that it
can communicate effectively with them, which raises production efficiency. I have prepared
administrative forms, kept records, scheduled meetings to discuss new policies within a
company, send files to analyze and evaluate the performance of employees, create statistics for
the most productive employees, provide management with
Human resources have never been easy, especially as they require academic and comprehensive
skills. Ethics in many ways can also be an advantage. Skills are awarded because we must enter a
job but there must be something we must appreciate, which is always adhering to work ethics. It
may be necessary to be familiar with this field, but knowledge will not be enough if we do not
have a personality. Thinking about compatibility with people is necessary in order to create a
positive environment and mitigate the toxic work routine. And this is what I learned from these
tasks.

Decision Making and
Problem
Working as a remote HR
representative was difficult,
especially during critical
thinking and conflict
resolution, which occurred
virtually, posing a few
challenges.
Subsequently, I needed to get
familiar with other skills on
conflict the board and critical
thinking that aligned with my
working situation.

H.R Management:
During the processes of
recruitment, training,

performance evaluation,
employee relations, company
goals and plans as well as
daily tasks, interference or
delays must be prevented, and
time must be managed well.
In the Intership, I worked
with a specified schedule to
complete the recruitment
process and tasks involved in
their specified time.
Organized interviews which
required me to keep time
while also assessing the time
management skills of the
interviewees.
This entire process gave me
an in-depth understanding
and application of HR
Process .

Communications
Management:
The ability to exchange
information with another
individual or groups in a way
that ensures mutual
understanding of the message
is important in an
organization.
Over the Intership, I
exercised and developed my
communication skills at
length.
This was through
communication with the

company’s employees and
officials.
I also participated in
conducting several interviews
which demanded the
application of communication
skills.
Each of these instances
created a unique scenario for
me to apply and develop
different concepts of effective
communication.
Lastly, my communication
style and skills both written
and oral have been integrated
into a more professional
way.
I had to doemails and letters
of apology for those
applicants who have not
passed for the initial
interview and for the
application process.

Computer Essentials:
Due to the current
technological advances, the
use of computers has become
an integral set of skills in an
organization.
During the recruiting process,
using computers was
inevitable.
The tasks I performed
required adept knowledge and
skills in the use of computer
software such as Microsoft

College of Administration and Finance Sciences
word, Microsoft excel and
Word.
I therefore gained skills of
using these software in order
to complete processes like
reviewing files and editing
work reports.
The knowledge and skills
gained enabled me to perform
the tasks faster and
efficiently.
Those skills are the ones that I have acquired during a Intership as a trainee student in the HR
Department.
2.6 Learning:
The tasks I performed in the Intership taught me some essential lessons in management.
By performing them, I understood that the process of recruiting required one to possess and
apply effective communication skills, time management, computer and negotiating skills to
succeed.
I also learn that it is important to develop future plans that help exploit current skills of
employees and improve them to ensure a more effective production process.
And also learned from the tasks is that Human Resource has never been easy, especially that it
requires both academic and holistic skills.
Being ethical in many ways can really be an advantage as well.
Skills are given as we have to enter a job but there must be something that we have to value, and
that is to always uphold work ethics. It might be necessary that we must be knowledgeable in this
field, but knowledge will not be enough if we do not have character.
Mindset in getting along with people is necessary in order to create a positive environment and
mitigate a toxic working routine.
And that is what I have learned from the tasks.

1.3 Chapter three
Overall, the internship provided me with new experiences and skills. The clear and wellinstructed guidelines of the internship training helped shape this report in the manner it appears
now. I've seen similarities in facts and beliefs between the classroom and real-world jobs. During
the Intership , I had difficulties converting ordinary activities to academic styles. It was a
fantastic chance to identify my strengths and weaknesses, which provided me with new insights
on how to develop both in the future (Wallnerström & Hilber, 2014). You were learning how to
cope with ethical situations, quandaries, environmental difficulties, and other organizational
factors other than corporate strategy and logistics. I would like to express my gratitude to
everyone who assisted in the success of my internship program.
Some of the difficulties faced during this Intership included miscommunication, conflicts, and
difficulties in allocating schedules and time.
All of these were as a result of remote working for both human resources and some employees.
Because remote work enables businesses to compete in a more global culture, the true problem
becomes adjusting to the working environment.
Some of the ways I overcame these challenges included: fostering an effective communication
culture, building employees' trust, rewards, and recognition, embracing diversity, selecting the
best tool, and encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
And also in the recruiting process, I experienced a few difficulties.
The main difficulties were in process of searching for young talent, attracting them into the
company and creating a work environment that suits them to increase productivity and raise
work efficiency.
The business market is constantly changing but some companies that fail to notice this change
and its impact on the market.
Today, recruiting and maintaining human resource is one of the main challenges faced by most
managements, despite this being an integral part of the companies.
To counter this, I suggestions were made to the company offered more competitive advantages
that ensured talented and competent employees were attracted to it.
Besides this, the company provided a suitable work environment that met the minimum social
and professional needs of the employees to ensure that recruited employees are retained.

Proposals for the development of field training must be taken into account the success of any
field training work in order to achieve its desired goals, such as the need for the training program
prepared to be consistent with the values, trends and skills of the profession that have been
developed to train train trainees to practice in the future and the program is not far from doing so.
I also recommend that institutions prepare well for trainers and provide them with what they
need to work full-time in field training, and field training for them does not turn into a mere
social interface or research behind a living and earning.
Conclusion
Internships are becoming more popular in information technology and entrepreneurial courses.
Internships allow IT graduates to gain entry-level employment experience. Internships can assist
graduates in preparing for self-employment in the IT business, which employs many selfemployed contractors. Internships have been related to better levels of ambition, work
satisfaction, and stability. The Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands offers a
master's degree in electrical engineering that includes hands-on experience. Interns are given
more opportunities and are permitted to own the task assigned (Sweitzer & King, 2013). As a
trainee student, I learned a lot about administration, management, staffing, and team leadership.
Internships improve graduates' competitiveness and lead to higher incomes. According to a poll
conducted by the Trading Hub for Legal Advice Company, most employers preferred to recruit
interns over non-interns. As a human resources manager, I ensured that employees felt at ease
working from home and in their own houses. To maintain a remote work atmosphere, I must be
creative. This might entail sponsoring lectures or equipping employees with tools to convey this
attitude in the virtual setting.
