Two teams that are equally matched play each other in a best of seven series (for example, the World Series or the NBA Finals).  Suppose one team loses the first three games of the series.  Find the probability that they go on to win the series.

The team that lost the first three games must win the remaining four games in order to win the series. The probability of this event is (1/2)^4 = 1/16.

Thanks! That was actually pretty simple to understand too!! They can either win or lose so that is the 1/2, and there are four games left so ^4th.
