Write a 750- to 1,050-word paper in which you discuss environmental sustainability. Include the role of IPAT models, the stages of environmental problem, and the environmental effects of our ecological footprints on environmental sustainability.

In essence, a sustainable environment is one which can meet demands of its carrying
capacity without incapacitating the population living standards. Recent studies show that
population is exceeding the earth's carrying capacity. Pre-industrial average global temperatures
rise to more than 2 degrees centigrade where the effects are unpredictable, complex and
escalating hence limiting the growth on a finite planet. In general, environmental sustainability is
based on three pillars: environmental, economic and social sustainability. Reduction in CO2
emissions, stopping the destruction of the forest, converging an alignment of carbon footprints to
an operating system that is safe internationally are some cradle-to-cradle practices to take this
challenge to its low levels (Melville, 2016). Radical co-innovation and mutual interdependence
