writing an essay 4 pages basic words and normal vocabs
writing an essay 4 pages basic words and normal vocabs
I need in basic english and as much as you can normal words since my english is my second language so if you make it advanced words i might be in trouble write a 4 page paper that will do four things:
1) Discern what the author’s argument is;
2) Identify the sources that the author relies on to make
his or her argument;
3) Explain the author’s conclusion, and;
4) Explain why you chose this particular topic about which
to write your paper.
The paper should be presented in essay-format that
demonstrates your ability to write a university-level paper. That means that your paper must have a point
to it, have an introduction, a body, and a conclusion, as you focus on the main
points outlined above. You must use
Standard English in your writing, avoiding colloquial expressions,
contractions, and passive voice, while maintaining good grammar usage, proper
capitalization and punctuation, correct verb conjugation, and appropriate word
choices at a sophisticated level.
Your essay should be 4 pages, double-spaced, and have page
numbers printed on every page (except the title page and the first page,
neither of which take a page number). It
must have at the top of the paper a formal bibliographic citation for the
article according to the Chicago Manual of Style (available in Reference
Section of Cook and on the Cook home page; Cook also has an electronic
subscription to the Chicago Manual of Style). Failure to include a proper
citation for your article will result in a loss of 5 points on the paper. The
paper should have as few quotations by the author as possible, because such
usage takes away from my ability to see how you read the material and synthesize
it and then write about it. Your paper
should reflect what you understand from the article, allowing your reader to
grasp what the article is about without having read it (because I will not have
read every possible article out there from which you are choosing).

IT question
IT question
Being in a CEO position, I would think to align the CIO with other chief officers like CFO and COO, directly under myself. They would be the head and most responsible for the IT initiatives throughout a company. Of course their focus is quite a bit different than other officers in upper management but the CIO is just as important. The rest of the organization structure would be aligned down from there. The CIO should report directly to the CEO not the COO. They are the leader and focal point for IT guidance in the organization. A person of this position should have regular contact and exposure to the CEO. If there were some important changes that needed to be made the CIO should be able to let the CEO directly. Information that will come from them would be things that should not be left up to the possibility of falling through the cracks. Not saying that if the CIO reported to the COO, then then pertinent information would not eventually get to the CEO. I just don’t believe it is something that could be afforded or left to chance of delay. There are many facets of a company that are IT driven and related and the CIO requires and understanding of both the IT perspectives and the local business culture. With things constantly changing on a daily basis they need to be in contact to those leaders. The CEO would be able to articulate the goals of the business and the CIO could let them know in real time what it would entail to make that happen.

IT Question 2
IT is a major part of all businesses. I consider it to be the backbone of a business. In order for IT to contribute to the overall success of a business, they have to be completed involved in all aspects of the business decisions. IT is very diverse and has a lot of different technical areas. So, there just can't be one leader in IT. Different personnel have different areas of expertise. Everyone in IT must be a leader so that all of these technical areas have a voice in the business decision-making. This quote is stating just that. Everyone in IT must step up and take a leadership role to support the business. Everyone in IT has to contribute to the business strategies and make sure the business reaches its goals. A business must establish a supportive work environment. Everyone must be open-minded and willing to listen to new ideas from there colleagues. The business will increase its efficiency when they have all of IT acting as leaders.A business must be willing to take the approach that makes them the most competitive in the business market. If they stay on the track of making sure that there whole IT staff takes a leadership role, they will definitely be competitive in their line of business. For those companies that don't have their whole IT staff as leaders, it will be hard for them to stay competitive. They will be at a disadvantage because they are not maximizing the technical knowledge they are paying for in there employees.

1. What, if anything, should we do about this blog entry? I think they should do nothing about the blog entry, because it will raise more public attention to that blog entry if they take down that blog entry, it may also bring bad effects to the blog’s author himself and cause disharmony between IT department and other department. But Barton and his team must make policies to make sure the IVK staffs don’t disclose any company’s proprietary information to general public. 2.What should be our general policy about blogging based on inside information from within the company? The company’s general policy about blogging should at least include: First, it should specify the IVK employee’s blog should not disclose any confidential information of company. Second, it should specify what scenarios will consider as information disclosure and prescribe different level of information disclosure. Last, it should prescribe measures and punishments to the person who disclosed information based on different level of information disclosure. 3.What should be our process for spotting emerging technologies and analyzing them to see how they might be relevant to us, for better or worse? The most effect way to spot emerging technologies is to form a special group that periodically explore and seek the IT emerging technologies and analyze those technologies. The group also should periodically investigate research findings from research institute and other companies that have successfully use emerging technologies. It can also establish a company’s technology forum; every employee can freely speak out their ideas about emerging technologies. IT department may receive useful information form the How would you respond to Bernie Ruben’s three questions about blogging and emerging technologies? Barton met the kid in a bar, Vinnie’s right after he became the CIO of IVK. After many meetings in which Barton thought he was just a young, nerdy kid straight out of college, the kid turned out to be Jonathon Luce, a key player in the computer graphics industry. All along the kid, or Jonathon has been giving Barton advice to guide him along in his tenure as the CIO of IVK. He has been there giving him key advice, pointers, and an outside perspective on the situations that he has been dealing with at IVK. Luce has been a mentor of sorts along the way that Barton has been offering a job to, while all along I think that Luce has been grooming Barton to become the CIO of an international bank. I don’t know if it is complete coincidence that they met; however, if Barton stays with IVK despite the job offer from Luce to work at his computer graphics company, the information and guidance that Luce has been giving him will pay off for IVK and for Barton’s career as the CIO of IVK. If he decided to leave and work for Luce, all of the guidance would have been for nothing as replacing a CIO and having that person take over all of the processes that Barton created and implemented will be useless and too time consuming. The kid has been giving Barton great ideas and helping him to see outside of IVK to keep their company competitive with the industry and to think ahead and progressively.
