that won't be the same question when i get back to my homework but i just need it broken down so i know how to get the answer myself. I know the answer is 37.49 but i have no idea how i get that

that means Pr(x>x) = 13% 

Pr (x>x) = Pr(Z>z) = 1-Pr(Z<z) =0.13

sp Pr(Z<z) = 0.87, 

look up the normal table for area under z equals to 0.87, we have 

z = 1.13

z = (x-u)/std = 1.13

x = 1.13*o+u = 42+1.13*4 = 46.5
