First figure out the probability of rolling any number

the answer is 1/6, since a die has six sides the probability of rolling any number is 1/6

Now figure out the probability of repeating that same number. The probability will remain the same regardless of how many times that die is rolled. To get the the same number nine times multiply 1/9 times it self nine times. 1/6*1/6*1/6*1/6*1/6*1/6*1/6*1/6*1/6=

So the probability of getting 9 numbers alike is 1 out 10,077,696

Probability always remains the same not matter how many times you play. Odds and probability are not the same thing.

That is why it's stupid to buy a bunch of lottery tickets hoping to win it. The probability remains the same no matter how many times you play.
