What does the "wave-particle duality of light" mean?

Apr 1st, 2015

Wave-particle quality can well be defined as the exhibition of both wavelike and particle like properties by a single entity. For example, electrons undergo diffraction and can interfere with each other as waves, but they also act as point like masses and electric charges.
