Integration of Faith and Current Practices of Coaching
This article aims to highlight the benefits of integrating the professional practices of
leaders and biblical perspectives such as faith through coaching. Integrating faith into the current
coaching practices must be based on three biblical practices. This article explores three biblical
principles, including faith, truth, and perseverance, as anchored in the biblical accounts of James.
Ideally, there is value in integrating these three practical teachings into the coaching profession
since it helps to establish deep-rooted and trusting relationships. Notably, coaching practitioners
can gain insight, understanding, and solutions in these biblical concepts to assist in developing
leaders and enhancing their relationships within the organization, providing fundamental
competencies and improving their leadership performance in every sector of life. In essence,
leaders must develop a trusting relationship in all their endeavors throughout their professional
and personal lives. Therefore, this essay explores how biblical concepts such as faith, truth, and
perseverance can be integrated into coaching practices to enhance leaders' performance.
Coaching practitioners must ensure that they impart these biblical concepts to leaders to
help maximize their organizational performance for positive results. Faith, truth, and
perseverance are essential in creating a trusting relationship among organizational leaders. This
leads to optimal performance and a high return on investment in coaching. Ideally, this essay is
meant to identify the essential pillars for coaching leaders and connect them to important biblical
concepts recorded in the accounts of James. Notably, biblical scriptures and characters are
essential in coaching leaders to help increase their commitment, trust, productivity, and selfidentity. Coaches have an important role in transforming the world by developing and
transforming leaders who, in turn, influence others and ultimately bring positive changes to an
organization. According to Wilson Global Outreach Solutions (2018), coaches who integrate

According to Wilson Global Outreach Solutions (2018), Jesus Christ is recognized in the biblical
scriptures as the coach for Christian leaders as he offers a roadmap for Christian coaching.
