What is the hydroxide ion concentration of the acid solution described in the previous question? Enter your answer in scientific notation.

pH = - log(7.69 E-2) = 1.11 (the concentration [H+] equals the concentration of HCl - a strong acid)

The hydroxide concentration is [OH-] = 10^{-14} / [H+] = 10^{-14} / 7.69 * 10^{-2} = 1.3 * 10^{-13}. 

Note that [H+] * [OH-] = 10^{-14}  the product of concentrations  is constant
