Q. Explain the basic elements of Lessig’s framework. What he means when he says that in
cyberspace “The code is the Law”?
Lessig’s framework classifies some of the forces or the elements that are responsible for
regulating and constraining behavior. All the elements that are depicted in the framework are
applicable in real life/ real space and cyberspace as well. The basic elements include the law, the
market, architecture and the norms (Hiller & Russell, 2015). These elements have properties that
are unique. To begin with; the law states the rules that regulate operations and behavior.
